Purple Roses

I'm happy with the way this one turned out. Painting small scale has its downfalls--sometimes things get muddy very fast. Getting a sense of depth and variety of strokes within a 4 x 6 canvas is challenging. But fun.

Leading In, Complete!

I still might make some tweaks here and there, but I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out. I'm hoping to get a few more of these mid-sized pieces under my belt before the holiday show season.

No. 9

No. 9 : : for Dorothy in North Carolina

Purple Polka Platform Pump. Say it five times fast. I'm having such fun painting postcards that I'm slacking off in my other paintings! Time to get busy.

Well-Heeled: Reclined

Ahhh...the life. To get all dressed up in a satin gown and put on some beautifully impractical heels--just to recline on a purple velvet sofa? We can dream.
