Going Big! Happy Hillside
Painting small is so rewarding. I can manage all the parts of the painting at once and still finish it in an afternoon in most cases. To get out of my box a bit, I pulled out a 16 x 20 canvas (huuuge by comparison!) and attacked it without thinking. I needed to just pick up a brush and go. Otherwise I would have chickened out!

Maybe this is what I need to do. Just start big. I like the gratification and intimacy of small, but I long for big.
ReplyDeleteGreat site and love your paintings.
Thank you, Rowena. I just tried to tread water and not drown in all that space!
