Vineyard Storm
I got a smidge burnt out on the laminate chips, so today I finished up a small canvas instead. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

I love the simplicity of your paintings. I was wondering what are Laminate chips and where do you buy them. I am a want to be painter and you are very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHi Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words about my paintings. The laminate chips are actually from a home-improvement store--in the kitchen counter top section. They use them to show samples of what the different laminate surfaces look like. One day when I was there they were tossing a huge box of old samples and I asked if I could have them. I apply two coats of gesso to each side and voila! Cute little painting surfaces!
