Wide Stripes


This one was slick and slippery...and a lot of fun to paint. This is a common view out my window when driving around here.  Fields fanning out before you. Almost touching you, but not quite.

So if you believe a certain furry mammal's prediction, we are due for more winter.  Sounds good to me. I'm much more productive when cooped up indoors!

  1. I love what you did with the sky here. Or rather, how you captured the sky. And the contrast between the fluffy melty sky and the very regimented, patchwork quilt-like fields. Inspired work.
