I haven't been painting as much as I should. I'm rusty, which makes me frustrated.. I wish there was a magical cure but, just like exercise, you have to earn it all over again. I'm not the kind of painter who pretends to love all my paintings equally. Just like anyone who may be buying artwork, I have my favorites--colors, shapes and compositions that make me feel happy. Pieces that are a struggle to finish will never have the same love as the ones who come together spontaneously. And, yep. This is one of those. Hence the name.
