I think I've said this before here, but I am a fan of deep, dark, scary kinds of seascapes. The ones where you are happy to be just an observer. Maybe it's my love of the wild coastline of Northern California and Oregon that makes me paint them in such a way. Places you'd go to all bundled-up, huddle and watch the waves, rushing home to get inside--feeling as if mother nature had slapped you around a bit.
