A little trip to the cool, misty ocean...at least in my head. Fall is coming, it's just taking its sweet time getting here. I missed my watercolor post yesterday. I had photos on my other computer which up and died two days ago and didn't have any new ones to share. I'll get back on it next week!

Being landlocked in the Central Valley, I don't get the chance to paint the ocean much. I painted this (mostly for the sky) from a photo taken ages ago.

Oh, for those of you inquiring about prints, I am still saving up for a good printer that I believe will accurately represent my work in archival inks. I prefer to print on demand versus going to a print shop. That way people can purchase what they like and I can custom color correct each one. Ft. Bragg Bluff

I painted this from a photo I took on a recent weekend away. Oh, how I love the rugged beaches of the North Coast. Our first day there was too sunny and warm for my taste. But the next day provided the cold damp fog and drippy skies I was hoping for.

Pt. Reyes Mini

I loved the meandering waterway and colorful grasses of the marsh at this spot. It's a place we visit at least several times a year when us landlubbers hear the call of the ocean.
