Tule Fog

It feels so good to be back painting again! This one is an homage to our local Valley fog. When present, it makes driving miserable but it's gorgeous at the same time.

Overcrossing

Sometimes I really enjoy painting things that are so much a part of my everyday scenery that I don't notice them. This overcrossing that spans the train tracks in Davis is one of them.

Foggy Road

I love how the fog whitewashes whatever is in the distance. A blurred-out fantasy where everything is a bit more idyllic.

Spectator

This tree is on a (slightly) country road just out of town. Leaning over the road slightly and all alone..it looks like it's expecting someone.

Foggy Day, Ft. Bragg

More coastal! I love how the fogbank sits and waits patiently over the ocean for the chance to seep back in and swallow everything in its path.

Winter Haze

A little more abstract than I planned, but I like the diffuse colors and the sun trying to burn off the fog.
